COOL MOON THIS MORNING!

What was so cool about the moon was that it appeared as if a star or planet was right next to the moon. I've never seen a planet or star appear so close to the moon before. If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you can see it much better.

WILD ABOUT FLOWER MOUND FESTIVAL

Last Saturday we went to the 2nd Annual Flower Mound Festival. The festival promotes local businesses. They had a great petting zoo, and some rides for little kids. I liked the free stuff we got - seeds, a sunflower seedling, a trowel, frisbees, hacky sack, pens, magnets... We had a fun time.

CHOCOLATE EASTER BUNNY

For Easter it's been a tradition in our family to make a bunny cake. This year our bunny cake wasn't quite traditional as usual. Katrina at the time was on a special diet & could only use a specific chocolate cake mix. Jayson & the boys don't really like this cake, so I made a brownie for the bunny head, and used Katrina's cake mix for the ears & bow tie - everyone was happy!

MY NEW DO - hmmm

Had my hair cut last week - still not sure about it, though. It is a lot easier to deal with though, now that it's short - oh no! Does this mean that I'm officially middle age, now! Augh! I don't think that I'm going to be growing old very gracefully - it's just hard looking in the mirror these days b/c it's not me looking back. Oh well, I've got no control over it, do I?
