BRADLEY - OUR MOUNTAIN MAN

Bradley's scout troop went on a Mountain Man camping trip. Each boy had to have a mountain man coat. Sister Mower was very nice to make Bradley's coat.

OUR TRIP TO ARIZONA

The day after Christmas, early in the morning (5:20 AM to be exact) we left Texas for a 16 hour drive to Maricopa, AZ to see Meagan, Pat, Anthony, and Adrian. It was quite a long day. Poor Jayson ended up driving the whole time, because of the weather. Across the plains of Texas it was very windy - our Suburban was blown around a bit - and then when we got to New Mexico, it snowed all the way until we hit Tuscon, AZ. But it was worth the drive. We had so much fun. The next several postings are from our trip.



You can't tell from these pictures, but it's snowing. It snowed from the Texas/New Mexico border to almost Tuscon, AZ. That was something that we didn't expect.

Poor Bradley - he spent two out of our three day trip in bed sick.

On Saturday, Meagan and Pat took us to the Titan Missile Museum in Tuscon, AZ

After we went to the Titan Missile museum, Pat and Meagan took us on a quick 40 minute hike at Picacho Forest.

It's Sunday, and Bradley's still sick. He had to stay home again.

Sunday night Meagan and Pat took us to the Mesa, AZ Temple to see the temple lights. Sorry the pictures are so blurry. My camera doesn't do well in the dark.

On Monday, Pat and Meagan took us on a hike at "Dreamy Draw."


The hike was very pleasant. The weather cooperated and it was just great being outside.


Pat and Anthony - Anthony has the best seat for a hike.

Adrian sounds like he's really enjoying the hike. He did this until he fell asleep. So cute!
